How is an architectural scale model made?
Architectural scale models are built from materials submitted by the client. After analysis, the model components are designed electronically. It is best to submit blueprints in digital format: Autocad, Archicad, 3dsMax, PDF, etc. The size of the model depends on the scale you need for your project. The most common scales are 1:100, 1:50, 1:200, 1:500, 1:1000, depending on the type of scale model you want (planning model, miniature model, display model, etc.).
What information is needed in order to estimate the price and execution time?
In most cases, architectural scale models are built from digital blueprints, but visual support (such as architectural drawings and photographs that can be scanned and vectorized) is also accepted. Elevations, sections, axonometrics and perspectives are also useful. In addition, we need to know the size or scale you require. The scale can be adjusted to fit the scale you set. Other useful information includes: the date of specific date of completion, whether the model is equipped with a lighting system or a plexiglass shield.
What materials do we use?
The wide variety of materials we can use (acrylic, ABS, metal, glass, plexiglass, etc.) allows us to mimic almost any building material. The colors will match the colors used in your project, as will the material textures (mullion windows, aluminum panels, tiles, gazebos, etc.). Architectural scale models with lighting systems
If you need to create a night scene or highlight a specific area, we can add LED lighting according to your needs. (Usually includes a lighting system) You can also choose two or more independent circuits, such as one for street lighting and one for interior lighting.
How is the price calculated?
There is no standard price for architectural scale models, as it all depends on the deadline, dimensions (height, width, length), materials, details, accessories (lighting, Plexiglas protection case, demountable roof, cars, furniture, etc.)
How long does it take to build an architectural scale models?
The execution time depends on several factors, such as the stage of your project, whether modifications are required, details, scale, etc. The production time is usually completed within 1 month.
